Air Plus for All: A Dream Persevering for Over a Decade
In 2012, product designer 8705 bought his first mountain bike and joined the Chinese Marzocchi club. Soon after, he picked up a used 66SL1 ATA fork. The triple‑air‑chamber design delivered such smooth, linear travel—almost like a coil spring—that he was instantly captivated. A thought stuck with him ever since: "If only every fork could feel this good."
At the time, there were already third‑chamber conversion kits on the market, but they were pricey and model‑specific. Copying them was never his goal—"For All" was what he truly pursued.

That idea lingered for over a decade. He sketched countless structures, yet never found the breakthrough.
Then, in early 2025, a friend cut through the fog with a simple truth: "You have to give up something to gain something."
So he scrapped the external air‑valve design. He sacrificed some tuning convenience—but in return, the entire air chamber could now fit into almost any fork with a 34mm+ stanchion, from Fox and Rockshox to DVO and Suntour, even niche brands like Xfusion and BOS. The simpler construction also kept costs low, bringing the final price down to roughly that of a routine fork service.

Feb 2025 – The spark of inspiration struck.
Mar – Bought a 3D printer, taught himself modeling, and printed the first Rockshox adapters while machining metal prototypes of the Air Plus CAN.
May – Tested and dialed in the optimal chamber volume, establishing the 1.5× pressure‑ratio baseline.
Jul – A dozen reliable samples rolled off the line; long‑term durability testing began with fellow riders.
Sep – Piston and seal designs were finalized, and adapters for DVO, Suntour, BOS, and others were completed.
Nov – After several setbacks, a dependable manufacturing partner was finally secured.
2026 – Branding, packaging, and the website went into production.
8705's expertise had its limits, and every step relied on the generous help of friends—from naming the brand and designing the logo, to sourcing packaging and building the site.
You have all been "all for me" —now I want to be "one for all." With an affordable price, I hope to bring a superior riding experience to everyone out there.
